Little Things- Introduction


I’m going to start 2019 with something different here on the blog; a series. This is my first time starting a blog series. This idea was formulated during a coaching session with the lovely Vicky Shilling, the writer of

I have so many photos sitting in my camera and phone that I have done nothing with and I’m so excited to share them with you via this blog series. There will be a blog post every Monday as part of this series featuring a new “little thing”.

What is a “little thing?”

A little thing is in essence what it says on the tin: a little thing. I’m trying to be more mindful of the little things in life. I have all these little ideas matched with photographs and I want to use my series as an opportunity to share with you some seemingly small but important things in my life that I value.

It is so easy to go about your daily life and forget to look up literally and mentally to appreciate the beauty around us. Over the next few weeks and hopefully from now on I’m going to do my best to notice more of the little things in life.

I’d like to encourage you to take part in my “Little Things” challenge with me and appreciate the little things in your life.

  1. This sounds like a great series! I can’t wait to see some of the posts and I love the idea behind capturing and appreciating the little things and being mindful of them too. That’s what I tried to do last year and something I’m going to work on even more in 2019 xxx

  6. I really like the thought behind this challenge and I’m looking forward to seeing how it goes. I bought a five year journal in order to track my feelings and help me not forget nice things.
