I don’t think I’ve every done a Q&A before on the blog so I decided it’d make a nice change. I took twitter and some lovely bloggers left me some questions so a huge thank you to them! Please check out their blogs if you haven’t already. I made a video answering these questions so please check that out too if you get a chance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TWRCCNe4hqw&t=1534s I hope you enjoy getting to know a little more about me.

What’s the number one thing to do on your bucket list?
I have a lot and I really want to share them all with you in a blog post but for now I will be a little naughty and share a couple with you:
- Go to London (This is actually happening soon and I am so incredibly excited!!!)
- Publish a novel- I love writing so much and I’ve written different sections of stories. I’m currently participating in CampNaNo and it’s always been my dream to write and publish a novel and someday I want to make that dream a reality.
- Participate in a marathon (Ok I am the most unfit person you have every met but this year I started going to the gym and I go running from time to time to distress so I’d love to keep it up)
If you could only do one thing for the rest of your life what would it be?
I think I missed this question in my youtube video of answering these questions…aaaahhh. Anyway if I could do nothing for the rest of my life I would write and keep writing. Although I adore acting so if I could mix the two that’d be super cool!
Do you prefer the sky at sunrise or sunset?
I have to be honest here, I haven’t actually seen a sunrise except for photos of it which were absolutely stunning. So from seeing those photos I will admit that the sky looks fab. I will have to go with the sky at sunset because I have seen so many sunsets and they all look so different and beautiful. I love how the sky can go from pink and purple to orange and yellow and even red. I will definitely try and get up early someday and watch the sun rise sometime soon though!
What’s one lesson you’ve learned from blogging?
I have learned lots from blogging. The main one is not to get bogged down by stats and views. Yes they may be important for securing opportunities with brands but it’s important to not let them dishearten you or stop you from blogging. Blog about what you love and try not to compare yourself to other bloggers. You write about what you like and enjoy it.
Do you like Spring?
I love Spring. So much. But I wish it didn’t rain so much here in Ireland. I suppose that’s the beauty of Ireland I shouldn’t complain too much.
Favourite ice cream flavour?
Definitely strawberry! It tastes so good. I only really eat vanilla and strawberry ice cream anyway! I can’t stand chocolate or mint ice cream. I do like melon ice cream though…I forgot about that.
What are you watching on Netflix/tv right now?
Lots, it’s actually shameful the amount of ttv shows I’ve started watching! Okay so here’s my big list:
The Good Witch, How I met your mother, The Big Bang theory, Riverdale, Designated Survivor and Suits. Oh and I’m constantly rewatching Gilmore Girls too!

What is you proudest moment?
Oooh this is a hard one. I don’t really know how to answer this one!!! I could say finishing my secondary school exams, the dreaded leaving cert, doing well and getting into college where I’ve met some truly lovely people. But I will also include something else as this is a q and a for you to get to know me so I will be a little personal. As some of you may know I have anxiety which I’ve been working on dealing with for the past few years. But a little personal achievement that I have to say I’m a little bit proud of it is that I went out for dinner recently and managed my anxiety well. Yes, I had a bit of anxiety while I was in the pub but I didn’t have a panic attack, I finished my dinner and dessert and honestly really enjoyed and didn’t spend the whole time overthinking the experience. I haven’t talked about how anxious I get when going out for a meal and I don’t think I will fully go into the hows and whys yet as I’m not fully comfortable with that but this has been a big step for me and it’s something that I’m trying to be proud of myself for doing.
If you could have any dinner with a celebrity who would it be?
Helena Bonham Carter. She seems like such an interesting person and she really inspires me as an actress, lover of literature and person.
Who inspires you the most?
My Grandad always inspired me. He taught me a lot and always treated me with kindness and taught me to treat myself and others with kindness. He was an absolute gent. He always inspired me to follow my dreams. Someone else that inspires me is Malala Yousafazi. She is an advocate for education for all children and adolescents alike. She inspires me because no matter what people told her she never stopped fighting (peacefully and not with violence) and campaigning for her right to education. I read her book too and she seems like a really lovely girl. She inspires me to not forget what I believe in and to stand up for it.

What’s your favourite thing to do at home?
Oooh I have lots. They all involve doing something I enjoy and relaxing. I love to read and write when I’m curled up in the corner of the sofa while the fire is lighting. I also love having friends or family over and just having a really chilled time. I like to bake and sing in the kitchen, not very well mind you but it’s a good laugh, especially as we always have the radio on! I also like to blog an film videos for youtube at home.
What do you think the hardest thing about blogging is?
I think the hardest thing about blogging is to keep going with it. For two reasons. One, it’s hard to find the time and balance it with other activities such as going to college, doing assignments, socialising, going to drama and rehearsing lines to name but a few. Blogging can be a balancing act but it is totally worth it, especially if you keep at it. Two, it’s hard not to compare yourself to other bloggers and not be too critical of yourself. But it is so important to remember that there are hundreds or thousands of bloggers out there with fantastic blogs but your blog is just as fantastic as theirs. We all have different designs and content but that’s what makes are blogs so awesome.
Name three words that you like?
Bubbles, giggles and hippopotamus
What made you start blogging?
I think I was just looking for a way to express myself and get to know more people. I have so many thoughts that I want to share with the world and I thought a blog would be a good way to do that. I also love writing and back then I wanted to try a new way of writing.
When did you start blogging and why?
Your first question is answered above and the answer to your second one is: I think I’ve been blogging on and off for over two and a half years now. I originally started on blogspot. I began blogging more seriously on this blog for around a year and a half now.
Thanks so much for reading my post and I hope you had fun getting to know me a little more. I enjoyed sharing this with you. Let me know if you’d like to see more of these chatty style posts and share some of your answers to these questions in a comment if you like!
