My 5 Autumn Faves

Hey there,

I’ve seen so many great posts, photos and tweets about Autumn and I decided to embrace my love of Autumn by writing a post all about it. There is so much to love about Autumn.

  • Nights by the fire

Autumn is a wonderful season to spend evenings with a cosy throw wrapped around your legs while doing something you enjoy. Personally I’m really beginning to value my evenings recently. I’m in uni everyday and I have a lot of studying and assignments to do. Therefore I love nothing better than to sit with my family and watch Coronation Street or Downton Abbey (my new obsession!!) which is a really effective way to relax as I get immersed in the plot of the tv series, plus there is always at least one or two comedic moments which give me a laugh and make it all the more enjoyable. I also love sitting by the fire with a big mug of tea and writing a blog post (that’s what I’m doing right now!!) or reading a book. Each of these activities are also some of my favourite ways to wind down after a hard days work.

  • Nature

I love nature! At the back of South campus at the university that I go to has a                       beautiful woodland are and I’m planning to explore it more over the coming weeks           and take some good nature shots. I love watching the sun go down in the evenings             on campus. I also love watching the leaves change colour and fall off the trees. It’s             fun to collect conkers and just spend as much time outdoors as possible!

One of my college friends baked these cupcakes for my birthday!

  • My birthday

I used to love my birthday as a child and then I wen through a stage of not looking forward to it as much as before.  But I turned 18 at the end of October which I was pretty excited about. I’m one of the youngest out my group of friends so it was nice to turn eighteen. Besides birthday celebrations are usually fun so that’s also something to look forward to! I love spending the day with family and then having some friends over a day or two later to celebrate.

Do you have an October birthday too?

  • Autumn Clothes

I recently bought a beautiful cardigan in Penneys in the sales after Christmas. It              was half price, originally 14 euro it was reduced to 7 euro! What a bargain! I love              matching it with these brown boots which I bought a few months ago, also for 7                  euro! This coat was a present from my mother from ONLY and it the first thing I

have from ONLY. I can honestly say that I am so impressed with it. It is lovely and              cosy and it has been keeping me warm on the chilly early morning commute to                  university. I absolutely adore the fur on the inside and outside of the hood. I                        bought this big fluffy scarf in Penneys for 6 euro and I love wearing it as it feels                  like a big blanket. I feel that it matches my jeans.  I usually wear my thin brown                  belt which matches both the coat and boots. I love wearing these orange, brown                 and dark blue colours to get into the Autumn spirit!

Do you have a favourite Autumn outfit?

That’s all for now, thanks as always for reading my post. I hope you had a lovely Autumn.

Until next time,

girl masked

  1. Loved reading this post and learning about what you love about this season! I was mad about Downton abbey! (Never got to see that last episode so will forever wonder what happened though 😂) I started out watching it by myself, then I thought my mum would enjoy it too so I started it over with her then she thought my sister would like it so it took very long to get through but was so relaxing and perfect for cosy nights inside. Also love that picture you took of the trees caving in at the sky 😍 hope you’re having a lovely day! 💗

  2. Autumn has really been a lovely season this year! I love seeing the leaves fall from the trees! I am going for a flying visit home next week where I’ll be able to curl up by the fire with my dogs – can’t wait for that! I love your yellow coat too, looks super cosy!
